    I agree with the plaintiff on this, if you want to stop lies from doing or causing lasting damage, the best way would be to play defense and that means preparing yourself mentally and building some type of mental immunity before the lies reach you. You could train yourself to basically spot when people are deceiving you and understand how liars essentially lie, that way you don’t end up falling for their tricks.
