But only if Social Media provides truthcourt buttons which anyone can use to question the truth or lie in a post or comment.

Yes, anything that makes people confront liars is a good thing. But with the amount of cheap and easy reach that botnets and misinformation/disinformation networks allow, there has to be a cultural shift towards preferring truth to lies. But modern culture is defined by the same groups that are running disinformation/misinformation campaigns, so ...

Wouldn't this be people giving their own opinions in response to the post? Unless each person is made to give sources, which would then give another layer to the original post, checking into the sources.

I googled idocracy to make sure of the definition, thinking of idiots. Idiocracy is a society or government ruled by or consisting of idiots. It can also informally refer to a society where stupidity is the norm, and it is often used in a humorous or derogatory way, sometimes linked to the satirical 2006 movie of the same name. The word is a portmanteau of the Greek roots idiot (from idiōtēs, meaning "private citizen" or "private person") and -cracy (from kratos, meaning "rule" or "power"). Core definition: A society or government composed of foolish, stupid, or ignorant people. Common usage: Often used informally to describe a society where idiocy is considered the norm, sometimes humorously and derogatorily. Etymology: Derived from the Greek idiōtēs ("private person") and kratos ("rule"). Related term: A similar, though distinct, term is idiocrasy, which refers to a peculiarity of constitution or temperament.

With the world moving into a direction of anti-intellectualism and preferring random entertainment instead of content with substance, I feel like something is needed to fix that “idiocracy” issue and what Truth Court is offering could potentially be the solution, my only caveat is what separates this from Twitters community notes?

Here's an example of a fiat lie that was immediately disprovable: famine in Gaza. It was never true. It was always a fiat lie, even when that lie was supported by groups like the UN. So why did so many people support a fiat lie? Culture. Can ICOT help change the culture? Of course, but only if it can get traction with online resources. That requires a revamp of the product to make it more palatable by larger groups of people.
